the first, a George III example, composed of silver, with adjustable notches and heart-form padlock, engraved, "9th September 1810," and with possible later ring marked to interior, "Sterling"; the second, composed of faceted silver and/or mixed metal links mounted on red leather strap, with two oval plaques, one with raised Neoclassical motifs, the other with raised monogram, "NC."
